You can do this workout at home or at the gym using a treadmill. It is super simple but SUPER effective. I like to get complicated with my workouts sometimes, but I recall this simple routine being one of my classes favorites last summer.
Time yourself and do it again in a month to see how much you've improved.
Instructions:
You will Repeat this circuit 4 times though, creating a total of a hundred reps per exercise and a one mile run
- .25 mile Run (FAST)
If you are not in a safe area or have nowhere to run...jump rope for 5 mins
- 25 Pushups
On your knees or against a wall for modification
Feet elevated for advanced
- 25 Box Jumps
6-12" Step. I use my husband's tough box.
Do squats as a modification
Do jump squats if you have nothing to jump on
- 25 Tricep Dips
Do an overhead triceps press as modification
- 25 Sit-ups
