Blood Type Diet: Let's Take Another Look, Shall We?

I have talked about the Blood Type Diet before in another post, but I want to bring light to it again. Back in November, I decided to remove foods from my diet that my blood type is "highly allergic" to. At the time, I had a lot of bloating and puffiness and lethargy. I must say that over time, I have noticed huge improvements in my health, but I can't necessarily pin it on following the principles of my Blood Type Diet because I've taken so many other measures to improve my health at the same time.

However, yesterday....I was slapped with a fresh dose of reality after stuffing my face with far too many tortilla chips...a food I normally avoid because corn is bad for Type B bloodtypes. Within minutes, I started bloating and then I got SOOOO tired that I actually took a nap. This girl almost NEVER naps. I suffered digestive issues all day and this morning my skin was all itchy and I couldn't get my rings off. Coincidence? I think not. Will I be juicing fruits and veggies that are highly beneficial for my blood type today to correct this problem? You can bet your bottom dollar!! :)

If you are unfamiliar with the Blood Type Diet, the basic premise is that you can eat foods which are either highly allergic or highly beneficial to you based on your blood type. Removing allergic foods and adding beneficial ones will result in significant health improvements.

For the sake of time I will reference you to my previous blog post on this from 7 months ago to learn more. There is a lot more that I talk about concerning the science of this diet.

If you are a generally healthy person, but you suffer from odd digestive issues, bloating, lethargy, or any other type of weird immune problems, I highly recommend taking a look at your blood type diet. Try removing foods that are highly allergic to you and see if this clears any health issues up. I am adhering to this pretty strictly from now on.
