Here are my Top 5 Favorite Supplements! If you take these every day, you WILL feel fabulous.
I have previous posts dedicated to these supplements individually, so I will give you a brief run down of each one and attach the link to my other posts about them.
1. Probiotic:
There is absolutely no excuse for you to not be taking this. This restores healthy flora to your digestive system. Most disease is developed because of something called "LEAKY GUT". Yeah, disgusting. Let's fix that problem.
Leaky gut basically means you have "leaks" in your intestinal walls that are not protected by healthy bacteria that fight off the bad bacteria and other toxins, so they are absorbed into your bloodstream rather than warded off and expelled through your "you know what."
Taking a daily probiotic will help you restore this healthy bacteria. If you are starting for the first time, it's important to either do a cleanse first to get out the toxic buildup in your intestines and colon or to take them on an empty stomach...preferably before bedtime. Otherwise, take them whenever it suits depending on the brand you get.
These are all great options

2.Fish Oil
Here is an article from the following website. Read and Enjoy.

#4 – Reduces Inflammation In The Body
#5 – Eliminates Joint Pain
#6 – Improves Your Skin

#10 – Increases Your Focus
Edward Hallowell, M.D., founder of the Hallowell Center for ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) in Massachusetts, recommends omega-3s in the form of fish oil supplements for patients with trouble focusing.
He notes that the benefits of fish oil are most noticeable for mental focus, not as much with hyperactivity. Dr. Hallowell indicates that it may take up to six weeks for patients to notice a difference, but that the improvement may be quite substantial.
Two separate small studies revealed that children with ADHD are likely to have lower levels of omega-3 in their blood than children with no ADHD symptoms, and that omega-3s tended to break down easier in children who suffer from ADHD.
This could explain why the benefits of fish oil are so noticeable in children with ADHD, and could also stand to reason that adults with ADHD might see similar benefits of fish oil.

3. BEE POLLEN
A year and a half ago I had a miscarriage. I went home right after surgery and became horribly anemic because of blood loss that lasted nearly 3 weeks. I was pitiful! My husband had heard great things about Bee Pollen. I wasn't convinced, but I started taking it and within 3 days, I felt SOOOO much better. My energy came back and my depression lifted.
Bee pollen has been deemed one of nature's greatest superfoods because it is so rich in nutrients.
Here's a link to a previous post if you want to learn more about it in detail.
You can take it in the form of capsules, granules, or powder. If possible, buy and take local bee pollen. This is a great time of year as it can help you combat allergies by supporting your body's natural defense systems.
This is my local provider. I get it in my health food store
4. MACA
This is quite possibly my absolute FAVORITE superfood supplement of ALL TIME. I have also devoted a previous post to it that you can read here.
This stuff is FANTASTIC. It gives you great energy and perhaps the best attribute of all is it's impact on libido. Yes, it will increase your sex drive. Your significant other should be ordering some for you right now.
You can take this in capsule or powder form. I am currently taking
Greens and Maca. I love it!! I mix it in with my protein shakes. I personally prefer supplements in powder form because your body doesn't have to break them down as much as they are more bioavailable.
5. Raw Vegan Protein
I recommend having this available because it is a great way to increase your protein intake and support muscle growth if you are on a primarily plant based diet. These will be made out of plant proteins or things such as hemp and rice.
But I don't just recommend them for being free of animal protein. They are usually free of everything else too like GMO's, hormones, gluten, preservatives, and other not so great additives.
Another reason I recommend a protein supplement is that you can mix a lot of the above all into one healthy superfoods shake.
Use almond milk, a scoop of plant protein, a scoop of maca and greens, some bee pollen, and some powdered probiotic. Swallow your fish oil with it and BAM, you're done! :)
I recommend a shake within 30 mins of exercising or as a mid afternoon snack to curb appetite and suppress hunger.
I am currently using Plant Fusion. It has a complete amino acid profile and is very clean. I get the non flavored kind so that I can make it whatever flavor I want. This is a great opportunity for me to use my 100% Cocoa powder. :)
My other favorite is Garden of Life RAW protein.
I take more supplements and will probably share them on my facebook page in the future, but for the sake of time, I'll list them and you can do a little research on them if you'd like
1. CLA
2. ALA
3. Whole Food MultiVitamin
