One of the ways that I am able to stomach so much water is by flavoring it. Can I get an AMEN! However, it's hard to find a flavor for you water that is natural.
On the trip from WA to OK with my mom, I was trying to chug water so I started putting those little crystal light packets in that are for energy and have the lady on the front leaping through the air. Sounds great to me! But my subconscious....ok my conscience told me that this Crystal Light Natural was not in fact natural at all and I should probably take a look at the ingredients I was consuming. By the way, you can't make excuses for being in denial about something because you don't know about it if you have access to information about it. Educate yourself. You live in America. Are you sitting at your computer right now? Are you on your iphone or smart phone? Then you have no excuse to be ignorant.
I decided to look at the ingredients and I won't list them all for you here but Maltodextrin (GMO), aspartame, modified cornstarch (GMO), Red 40, and Blue 1 will not in fact give you energy at all. And right now I'm actually getting the ingredients off of the back of the crystal light package that says immunity. HAHAHA. These things will not boost your immunity but they WILL perhaps give you cancer. My mom laughed in her adorable way and said, maybe you should cut back a little. I was disgusted with Crystal Light for false advertising and I was disgusted with myself for being a sucker.
So, I started looking for a natural product and I found this one! It's an organic flavor boost for your water. There are others like it. You can probably get it at your local health food store or Super Supplements.
Today, however, I am loading my gallon with about 4 whole lemons. The advantages of lemon in your water?
