A Preview of What's to Come this Week....

I realize that my nutrition challenge this week is nothing exciting or profound, but it's by far the most important one yet. It is an introduction into clean eating and the challenge is finding alternatives to your norm. It's easy to drink a gallon of water, but it's not easy to break out of our comfort zones and rewire the way we make certain life long decisions. 

It may also be less exciting of a challenge to buy organic produce because you don't feel immediate results. But you can go to another website for that. Remember what I'm about? I'm about finding change that lasts forever. If you want to stop battling your weight for the rest of your life then you need to change your metabolism in such a way that it uses your food for energy rather than storing it. You want your body to absorb your foods in such a way that your skin is brighter, your joints ache less, you are not fatigued, you're in a good mood most of the time, you have energy, etc. If you are filled with processed chemicals and other crap then you will constantly struggle with your weight. And remember this is not about quick fixes. It's not about looking good next month. (Although...you will if you start eating and working out the way I advise.) It's about feeling good for the rest of your life and for your children and their children. It's about being stronger in body so that you can be stronger in spirit. It's about struggling less against our flesh so that we can wrestle more with souls. And wrestling is a good thing by the way because it forces you to fight. We should always fight for what we believe and what we stand for. But a lot of us don't know what that is because we're too caught up in trying to look good or we're too achy and exhausted. 

Have you ever listened in on a conversation among elderly people where all they talk about is their medical bills and their achy joints and their medications. When I'm that age, I want to talk with my old lady friends about the rock wall I climbed with my grandchild or about the service I'm doing in the community. 

A lot of you have challenge me on the whole....Well, we're all going to die one day or we could walk out and get hit by a car, etc. So, what's the point? and so on. 

Do you think I don't know that I could die at any second???!!!! I am not trying to be invincible. But as long as I'm alive, I sure as heck want to feel good. It's not about the quantity of my life. I know my days are numbered. It's about the quality of my life and the quality of the lives I encounter. 

ALL THAT TO SAY....

Let's start changing the way we live BIG PICTURE. Think beyond today, ok?

3. Supplements you must ALL be taking

4. More hardcore workouts to make you strong and sexy
